Start understanding and speaking the language in this introductory course, designed for students with little or no knowledge of Italian. The course emphasizes conversation, Italian culture and daily life. A relaxed environment encourages students to participate in real life communication situations. It continues the development of Italian language skills and includes some aspects of Italian culture. The class offers a relaxed environment for participation with a variety of lively communicative activities. In pairs and small groups, you will converse about yourself, family and friends, daily activities, and events. The full-immersion approach provides students with ample opportunity for natural language acquisition. No previous Spanish required. This course develops conversation skills on a variety of subjects while consolidating grammar and building vocabulary. Conducted entirely in Spanish.
