Your Gift Keeps Lifelong Learning Alive!

Continuing Education and University Outreach serves thousands of lifelong learners every year. Our students are people like you who access Cal Poly's resources for lifelong learning opportunities ranging from earning a bachelor's degree through the Adult Degree Program to taking Cal Poly credit classes through Open University. We assist working adults achieve professional certificates, make mid-career changes, and update necessary job skills.

Continuing Education is financially self-supporting. We receive no state or university funding to support the lifelong learning opportunities we offer. Our valuable programs are supported entirely by instructional fees, donations, grants, and contracts. In return, we work with individuals, community organizations, businesses, and corporations to build a stronger network of lifelong learning opportunities to serve the Central Coast, our state and our nation.

There are many ways to help support lifelong learning at Cal Poly. We encourage you to consider:

• Creating scholarships for adult students who qualify for the Adult Degree Program, but need financial assistance.
• Having your business, corporation or organization join the Community and Corporate Partners Program (see inside cover for details).
• Making an annual fund gift to support continued lifelong learning opportunities.
• Making an endowment gift to support the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.
• Making a special gift to support new initiatives in Disaster Management, Homeland Security, and Fire Protection Management.
• A naming opportunity to help Continuing Education and University Outreach become the College of Lifelong Learning .
• The opportunity to help build a professional development center and permanent home for Continuing Education and University Outreach.
