Adult Degree Program
The Cal Poly Adult Degree Program (ADP) offers busy adults the opportunity to earn a Cal Poly Bachelor's Degree while balancing the responsibilities of work, family and community. The program features evening classes on campus and the opportunity to earn credit for prior professional training and learning.

Dietetic Internship
The mission of our internship is to train dietetic interns who will be competent, well-rounded, culturally sensitive individuals and contributing members to the field of dietetics. Upon completing their dietetic internship, students will be qualified to enter clinical dietetics, foodservice management, community programs and to take the registration examination for their RD credential. Cal Poly, SLO Dietetic Internship reflects the University's philosophy of "learn by doing."

Fire Protection Engineering
Cal Poly in partnership with the Society of Fire Protection Engineers and leading fire protection engineering firms, is developing a graduate certificate program and a Master of Science in Fire Protection Engineering program. The projected start dates are fall 2009 for the certificate program and fall 2010 for the master’s degree program.

Nonprofit Development Officer Certificate Program
The program is designed to help strengthen nonprofit organizations in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties and has been given financial assistance from the National Council on Aging.
