Designing a Course for Online Delivery
Are you a teacher facing layoffs? Think about learning to provide a course online. Add value to your resume by learning techniques, technology, and methods for designing your online courses by taking an online course. You will have hands-on training in Blackboard, you will focus on developing one online course from a sound pedagogical perspective within a 10 week asynchronous delivery, with the support assistance from an Instructional Designer through weekly assignments. Intended for beginner/intermediate Blackboard users. Don’t get left behind, delivering courses online is the wave of the future.
Instructor: Tonia Malone holds an M.S. in Education with a specialization in Online Teaching and Learning. She has been an Instructional Designer at Cal Poly for over fourteen years.

CBEST: Test Preparation Workshop
Receive test-taking tips, content specifications, study strategies, study materials and practice exams. Workshop instructors are trained Cal Poly student employees, faculty and staff who have personally passed the examination. Instructors are selected, trained, and supervised by the Cal Poly College of Education.
These workshops have received excellent evaluations from College of Education faculty, and the PASS rate following attendance is between 90% - 100%.
