Human Resource Certification Preparation with the SHRM® Learning System

This program, based on the SHRM® Learning System™, is designed to provide you with an overview of the key areas of human resource management. Topics and materials correspond to the six functional areas, responsibilities, and associated knowledge as defined by the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI). Besides being a powerful tool to assist you in preparing for the PHR or SPHR certification exams, this program also provides professional development for experienced human resource professionals as well as newcomers to the field of HR. It provides a solid foundation for managing the HR challenges of today's demanding work environment; it strengthens individual competencies and productivity. Fee includes SHRM® Learning System™ manuals.

Instructor JoAnn Senger, MA-Economics and SPHR, began her career in Human Resources using skills gained as a payroll computer programmer, initially working in compensation and HRIS functions. Subsequently, she has managed and/or worked in policy development, recruitment, EEO informal investigations, organization-wide budget matters related to Human Resources, union contract analysis and negotiations, and training. Her book "Designing a Not-for-Profit Compensation System", was published in April, 2005, by John Wiley and Sons, Inc.
